Halcyon Nurse Staffing was born out of necessity during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. As our sister company, a multi-facility hospital organization struggled to secure quality staff at sustainable rates, we experienced firsthand the strain that workforce shortages place on both providers and patients.

Out of that challenge came innovation. Guided by a hospital-first culture and the perspective of healthcare operators, we built Halcyon to be fundamentally different from a traditional staffing firm. Our mission was clear: to create a staffing model that balances quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness—ensuring hospitals have the right people at the right time, without sacrificing patient care or breaking budgets.
